My DYMO labelwriter does not show in “add printer” list. The overall goal is that I want to be able to access the printer remotely through a host computer.

Some features may not work correctly. To enable printer sharing, click on labelwriteg Apple icon and select System Preferences. Can’t imagine why it isn’t there. Using windows 10 – go to control panel hold windows key and press X, then select control panel – double-click “devices and printers” Here, I could see that the Dymo printer had fallen into the “unspecified device” category and the dyno solution was to manually update the driver I have the version 8.
I’ve tried using the netbios name in order to access a computer, but it’s not working for some reason.
When I installed the latest version, netowrk never asked me where my network printer was it asked me in the 7. After clicking OK, the program immediately shutted down, so I was not able to configure a network printer.
You are using an outdated browser. This article saved me a lot of grief. I have had this issue twice now first time a few months back which required a software re-intall.
